Mike D 5D came to the Royale in Boston, Massachusetts on August 30, 2026. Mike D rose to fame in the 1980’s as a founding member of the Beastie Boys. His album Thank You, released August 28, 2026, was his first music release since Hot Sauce Committee Part Two (2011). He had also performed shows with Very Nice Person, formed by his sons Davis and Skyler.
Once Mike D 5D hit the stage, they began their set with Hello Brooklyn. They played a nice mixture of songs off the new album, and Beastie Boys classics. What We Got, Crypto, Make It Stop, and Thank You were some of the tracks off of the newly released Thank You album that were featured. Some Beastie Boys songs that were thrown in included Looking Down The Barrel Of A Gun and Remote Control. They closed the night out with a rendition of a Beastie Boys classic, So What’Cha Want. KEEPING UP WITH MIKE D 5D
Mike D 5D will be touring into early November. They wrap up the North American leg of the tour on October 20, 2026 in Toronto, Ontario. Key stops along the way include New York, California, and Pennsylvania. They will then be making a run overseas beginning October 24, 2026 in Brighton, United Kingdom. They are set to finish up November 5, 2026 in Belgium. Germany and France will also be seeing multiple shows.
