Some concerts feel like a familiar reunion. Others feel like you’re seeing an artist through an entirely different lens. JJ Grey & Mofro’s return to Massachusetts at South Shore Music Circus somehow managed to be both.
Sharing the bill with The Wood Brothers, the evening paired two bands rooted in Americana traditions but approaching them from completely different directions.

The Elovaters played back to back nights at the Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire on July 16-17, 2026. We were in the house for night two, which also featured Over The Bridge and Surfer Girl. Over The Bridge led things off for the night, beginning their set with Right Mood. They played top songs including Wishing Well, Apple Tree, Carry On and Dreamin’. They finished their set off with an epic rendition of Forgot About Dre (Dr. Dre, Eminem).
Godsmack came to the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on July 2, 2026. This show was part of the Rise of Rock World Tour 2026. They were joined by Dorothy and Stone Temple Pilots. Dorothy was up first, playing fan favorites like Down To The Bottom, Raise Hell, and Rest In Peace. Next up was Stone Temple Pilots. They played a solid mix of hits including Dead & Bloated, Big Empty, Trippin’ On A Hole In A Paper Heart, and Sex Type Thing.
Carlos Santana came to the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on June 29, 2026. This show was part of the Oneness Tour 2026. The Doobie Brothers were also on the bill, as they opened things up for the night. They began the night with Rockin’ Down The Highway. They mixed in fan favorites like It Keeps You Runnin’, Minute By Minute, and Long Train Runnin’. Some covers they threw in included Take Me In Your Arms (Rock Me A Little While) by Eddie Holland, Jesus Is Just Alright (The Art Reynolds Singers), and What A Fool Believes (Kenny Loggins). They closed out their set with Takin’ It To The Streets and Listen To The Music.
Morgan St. Jean hit The Rockwell in Somerville, Massachusetts on June 24, 2026. She was joined by Chloe Jane and Ava Valianti, who opened the show. This was part of the Girls Just Wanna Tour.

Jack Johnson came to the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on June 20, 2026. This show was part of the Surfilmusic Tour 2026. He was joined by Hermanos Gutierrez, who opened the show. Hermanos Gutierrez showed off their mastery on guitar, including the signature lap steel.
Yellowcard stopped by Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts on June 17, 2026. They were joined by New Found Glory and Plain White T’s. This show was part of The Up Up Down Down Tour. Plain White T’s kicked things off for the night. They played fan favorites like Hate (I Really Don’t Like You), Hey There Delilah, and Our Time Now. Next up was New Found Glory. They performed top hits such as Hit Or Miss, All Downhill From Here, and My Friends Over You.
Girli came to Brighton Music Hall in Allston, Massachusetts on June 12, 2026. Pig Milk was also on the bill, as they opened things up for the evening. A highlight from their set was when the drummer took over lead vocals for a cover of Cherry Bomb.

They Might Be Giants hit the House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts on June 5-6, 2026 for a two night run. There were no openers for these shows, as each night featured two sets from TMBG. We were there for night two, which the first set was spotlighting their album Apollo 18 (1992). This was the last show of the first leg of their The Bigger Show Tour 2026.
