Boston Legacy FC hosted Utah Royals FC for an afternoon match at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on March 28, 2026. This was their third match of the season, and second at home. They were searching not only for their first win, but also their first goal of the year. Utah Royals FC entered the contest searching for their first win as well, as they had two losses and a draw to start the season.
Cheap Trick came to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on March 21, 2026. This show was part of their ALL WASHED UP TOUR, in support of their latest album released this past November. James Hatem opened the show. Some songs he performed included Wicked Ways, Had I Known, Northern Winds, and Prodigal Son.
Dropkick Murphys kicked off their annual St. Paddy’s Day run at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts on March 13, 2026. They also performed there Saturday and Sunday. These shows were all part of the FOR THE PEOPLE…IN THE PIT SAINT PATRICK’S DAY TOUR 2026. It is also the bands 30 year anniversary. We were there to cover the madness for Sunday’s Red Bandana Night show. This was in honor of BC Alum Welles Crowther, who is attributed with saving at least 18 people on September 11, 2001. Haywire, The Ducky Boys, and The Unseen were also on the bill for the night.
Bailey Zimmerman brought his DIFFERENT NIGHT SAME RODEO TOUR to the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on March 5, 2026. He brought along Blake Whiten and Hudson Westbrook as well. Blake Whiten opened things up for the night, beginning his set with Breakin’ My Heart. He played fan favorites like Break Me and Made for Goodbyes. He finished his set off with Rollin’ Stone. Hudson Westbrook came out next, starting his set with LMWYL. He then performed some of his most popular songs like Take Your Time, Painted You Pretty, Sober, and House Again.
Billy F Gibbons and the BFG Band came to Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on 2/20/2026. The band consists of Billy F Gibbons of ZZ Top, Mike Flanigin, and Chris Layton. This was the 22nd show of the tour, which is scheduled for 26 shows. The tour began January 20, 2026 in Napa, California, and is set to come to a close in Atlanta, Georgia on February 28, 2026.
Descendents and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls brought their co-headline tour to The Dome at Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut on February 19, 2026. NOBRO, who opened things up for the evening, was also on the bill. They are an all female punk rock group out of Montreal. They performed some of their top songs like Let’s Do Drugs, Better Each Day, and LALA.
The Elovaters brought their SUNBURN TOUR 2026 to the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Massachusetts for a two night run. The first show was Friday January 30, 2026 and had Sixfoxwhiskey, Jarv, and Afroman as support acts. We were there for night two (January 31, 2026) which showcased The Quins, Shwayze, and Collie Buddz as the supporting acts. The tour kicked off January 21, 2026 in Buffalo, New York and is scheduled to end March 7, 2026 in Houston, Texas. In all, they will play 28 shows in 26 cities.
Letters to Cleo kicked off their annual hometown “Throwdown” at the Paradise Rock Club on Friday night with the kind of energy, charm, and unfiltered joy that only a band playing for their people can deliver. Night one of their two-night stand was a sold-out, wall-to-wall-packed homecoming, drawing a crowd that skewed toward longtime, middle-aged fans but still carried the spirited mix of ages that a band with genuine Boston roots tends to attract. Though I’d been familiar with their music for years, this was my first time seeing them live and from the first chords of “Demon Rock,” it became immediately clear why this November tradition, revived annually since 2018 (minus the pandemic-era 2020), has become a beloved ritual. Fun note: Every band member wore a shirt with their first name printed on it, like some sort of pop-rock summer camp roll call. It was goofy, self-aware, and totally perfect for a night built on nostalgia and community.

John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival came to Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway on November 14, 2025. This show was part of The Legacy Tour. Hearty Har joined him, as they opened for the show. Hearty Har is led by John’s sons Shane and Tyler. They began their set with Graveyard of Your Love. From there, they then went into top songs like Can’t Keep Waiting, Radio Man ’56, and Scream and Shout! They ended their set with Boogie.
Mighty Mystic swung through Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, Massachusetts on October 30, 2025. He was joined by Hitch and Jimmy C, who opened the show. Brian Hitchings (rocking a cow costume for Halloween) and James Calandrella are both staples in the South Shore music community. They teamed up to give us a solid mix of tunes to dance to, kicking the evening off with a blast.
