Prince/Bowie came to The Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts on March 1, 2024. Weird Phishes were also on the bill, as they opened things up for the night. This is a band that combines Radiohead and Phish tunes. They kicked their set off with Radiohead’s Airbag. Some other Radiohead songs featured were Reckoner, Paranoid Android, and Optimistic. Carini, Birds of a Feather, and Stash were amongst the Phish songs performed throughout their set. All photographs from the evening were provided by Joanna Gleason.

Once Prince/Bowie hit the stage, they kicked off their 17 song set with Let’s Work. Let’s Dance, Starman, and Under Pressure were some of the Bowie songs highlighted throughout the night. Prince songs performed included Raspberry Beret, Kiss, and Let’s Go Crazy. They ended their set with Moonage Daydream. The fans were also treated to a two song encore, with Rock and Roll Suicide and Purple Rain being the songs of choice to cap the night off.

KEEPING UP WITH PRINCE/BOWIE

Prince/Bowie currently have no upcoming shows announced for 2024. They have however hinted that some dates will be coming very soon. Weird Phishes traveled down to the Monopole Bar in Plattsburgh, New York the following night. They have two more scheduled dates for March, starting March 8, 2024 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. That show will take place at the Park City Music Hall. The following night they will head up to Newmarket, New Hampshire to perform at the Stone Church Music Club.
