Phish performed at the Dunkin Donuts Center on Saturday, November 30, 2019. This was the second of two nights at the Dunk to kick off the Phish Fall 2019 Tour. The night consisted of two different sets, as well as an epic four song encore. As I walked towards the pit, i couldn’t help but notice the sea of people already in the arena. Many were sitting (or even sprawled out) on the ground. Most were simply trying to conserve as much energy as possible for the long night of dancing that was to follow.
The boys came out heavy, with a twelve song first set. They began it with Turtle in the Clouds. From there, they went on to play several hits, such as Stash, Punch You in the Eye, and Maze. Finally, they concluded their first set with another fan favorite, Golgi Apparatus. After a short break, Phish came out to perform their second set of the evening. This set had only half as many songs as their first, but was again jam packed with goodies. It began with Bathtub Gin. What’s the Use and Piper were also thrown in. The second set came to an end with Harry Hood. Following another brief break, Phish returned to give their fans an encore. The finale included Kung and Wombat, and was capped off with Possum. Hopefully as we head into the second quarter of 2021, we will begin to see more and more events popping up. We can’t wait to get back out there regularly and dance the night away with all of you.
