The Boston Fleet hosted the Montreal Victoire at Boston’s TD Garden on April 11, 2026. This was the first ever PWHL game at TD Garden, and it drew a sold out crowd of 17,850. This was also a battle of the league’s top two teams. Montreal entered the game with 55 points, while Boston had 54.

The game started off a physical, defensive battle. The first two periods saw eight penalties called, five against Montreal to Boston’s four. None of them led to any goals however, as we went into the third period scoreless. That finally changed 5:52 into the final period, when Montreal’s Lina Ljungblom beat Aerin Frankel assisted by Laura Stacey and Nicole Gosling. There was just one penalty called in the third. Laura Stacey was called for a tripping minor at 3:41 into the period. She picked up her assist straight out of the box. Despite yanking Aerin Frankel at the 17:14 mark, Boston Fleet could not come up with the equalizer and the game ended 1-0.
