Dead & Company came rolling through Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 2, 2022. They were scheduled to play two sets from the start, but mother nature forced them to cut their first set after just two songs. The delay lasted about an hour before things could get rolling again.

The first of two sets began with Cumberland Blues, followed up by Bertha. Then came the weather. It was an absolute downpour for a good 45 minutes or so, sending the fans running for cover. Once the clouds broke up and the rain began to settle down, you could feel the buzz of the crowd as the anticipation grew. Dead & Company came back out at 8:30 and delivered a 14 song second set. They came out with Good Lovin’ by The Rascals. A few other covers from the night featured Dear Mr. Fantasy, Hey Jude, and Morning Dew. As far as Dead songs, they jammed Brown-Eyed Women, Estimated Prophet, and Eyes of the World. They also provided a two song encore beginning with a rendition of Bob Dylan’s Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door. They officially ended the night with One More Saturday Night, in very fitting fashion. For those interested, you can check out the complete setlist from the night.
