Florida Groves Music Festival came to the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando on April 13-14, 2024. It boasted an impressively diverse lineup. Saturday was headlined by Michael Franti & Spearhead. It also featured bands like Two Feet, Tribal Seeds, Tropidelic, Sierra Lane and more. Sunday’s headliner was Milky Chance. The Elovaters, Atmosphere, Shwayze, Passafire, Of Good Nature and more rounded out the lineup for Sunday. All photographs and recap were provided by Joelle Cohen.
The weekend was nothing short of exceptional, both weather-wise and venue. The sunsets were beautiful. There was a skate ramp exhibit, and many people walking around with mushroom shaped hats. To say the least, vendors row was very, very cool. The setup included three stage areas, including the Bass Yard.
There was plenty to be enjoyed, no matter what your preference of music is. Sierra Lane and her band did a really great job of easing us into day one on the Main Stage. Manic Focus was a huge stand out in the Pavilion Stage area. It was a DJ with a guitarist and drummer, so it was very interesting. I would go listen to Manic Focus’ Sowing My Zone. We then made it over to the next stage for Tribal Seeds. They started out with older songs, and then got into the new album Ancient Blood. Michael Franti & Spearhead wrapped things up for the first day.
Day two was kicked off by Bombargo on the Main Stage. Throughout the day bands like Cloud 9 Vibes, Boogie T. Trio, and Atmosphere also performed on the Main Stage. The Pavilion Stage held acts such as The Sub Herbs, Shwayze, and The Elovaters. Milky Chance closed the festival out.
