Godsmack played the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on July 26, 2023. Mix Master Mike (Beastie Boys) kicked things off for the evening, paving the way for Staind and Godsmack. Mix Master Mike began the night with one of his famed DJ sets, spinning for just over half an hour to get the crowd warmed up. He spun everything from Beastie Boys songs, to songs from bands like Queen and Rage Against the Machine.
STAIND
Staind took the stage lead by frontman Aaron Lewis. They delivered a 15 song set, as they were co-headliners on the tour. The set began with the song Lowest in Me. From there, they went on to perform fan favorites such as Outside, So Far Away, and For You. They wrapped their set up with the heavy one-two punch of It’s Been Awhile and Mudshovel. GODSMACK
Godsmack hit the stage to close things out for the night. they kicked off their 13 song set with When Legends Rise. From there, they mixed in several other top hits like Cryin’ Like a Bitch!!, Awake, and Bulletproof. They wrapped the set up with their song Surrender off their latest album Lighting Up The Sky. We were also treated to a two song encore consisting of Under Your Scars and I Stand Alone. For those interested, you can check out the full setlist from the evening.
KEEPING UP WITH GODSMACK
Godsmack will be touring through the end of October. Their final scheduled date as of now for the year is October 28, 2023 at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey. Along the way, they’ll be making stops in California, Canada, and New York. They also already have a date marked on the calendar for 2024. They will be performing at the AZ Bike Week in Scottsdale, Arizona on April 6, 2024. Staind has just a few more scheduled shows left this year as of now. There final show of the year will be October 22, 2023 at the Gordy’s Highway 30 Music Fest – Texas Edition in Fort Worth, Texas.
