I was lucky enough to see Noah Kahan at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire. This show took place on September 6, 2023. He was touring in support of his album Stick Season, which was released last year. It was a sold out crowd, mostly rowdy and younger folks. Noah’s music is an infusion of folk, rock and pop music. His songs were resonating with the audience as they sang every word with him.

Noah is a down to earth rock star, with a self-deprecating wit. His songs are personal and honest. Noah was born in Hanover, New Hampshire and lived in a very small town in Stafford, Vermont. His songs reflect his small town values. He laughs about being a Jewish rock star. Noah first signed a record deal in 2017 with Republic Records. He chose not to go to college, and has not looked back since. He has had an incredibly fast rise to fame, and is just an amazing live performer!

Noah began his thirteen song set with Northern Attitude. From there, he performed four more songs before switching over to his acoustic. A few notable tunes from his acoustic run were You’re Gonna Go Far and Dial Drunk. He then came out to give the crowd a three song encore. Included in this encore was fan favorite Stick Season. For those seeking, you can look up the full setlist from the night. Photographs and review were provided by Joanna Gleason.
