Josiah and the Bonnevilles came to Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Massachusetts on March 26, 2024. This show was part of The Endurance Tour. Mon Rovia was also on the bill for the evening, as he has been providing support for the whole tour.
A solo performance, a one-man show. This is the name that I would give to the event on Tuesday night featuring Josiah Leming. Leming’s performance was magical. What impressed most is the energy and passion that came from the performer. It was not only about perfection, it was also about emotion. All the songs supported a story and emerged organically. It made for exciting moments when Leming changed up the volume, the intensity, and tone to keep people engaged. Leming’s stage presence was terrific. He had the ability to capture and command the attention of the audience. The most impressive part was the audience included people of all ages. He impressed in visual appearance, body language, charismatic speech, and general manners. This was achieved through eloquence and humility. What makes Leming an exceptional artist is not only his talent, but there is truth in his confidence.
THE SHOW
All Leming’s songs played during the performance on Tuesday night were great. The lyrics in each song were compelling. It was easy for anyone to remember them and sing along with the artist. He began the evening with Back to Tennessee. Cold Blood, Six Dollar Check, and Stolen Love followed. Anti-Hero (Taylor Swift), Jersey Giant (Tyler Childers) and Ghost (Justin Bieber) were some covers mixed in towards the middle of the set. He ended his 18 song set with Blood Moon. Josiah and the Bonnevilles The Endurance Tour will continue rolling down the east coast. He will be performing in Washington, DC tonight, before heading to Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia. Finally, he’ll wrap things up with three shows in Florida. The final date is set for April 7, 2024 in Tallahassee. He won’t be slowing down after that though, as he has many dates booked for the rest of the year including several festivals.
