Lime Cordiale stopped by the Middle East in Cambridge, Massachusetts on March 29, 2024. They were joined by special guest Windser. This show was part of their North American leg of their tour.
We were extremely excited to see Lime Cordiale at Mideast Downstairs in Cambridge, MA on March 29, 2024. The Middle East is an old-style, rowdy music venue with a 575-person capacity. It originally opened in 1987. Lime Cordiale is an indie-pop band from Australia, composed of two brothers. Oil (guitar/clarinet/vocals) and Louis Leimbach (bass guitar/trombone/vocals), James Jennings (Drums) Flex Bomhodt( keyboards) Nick Polovinineo (guitar and trambone). Their shows are infectious performances, with honest reactions. The crowd was electrified, and knew mostly all the words to their melodies. Photographs and recap provided by Joanna Gleason.
Once Lime Cordiale hit the stage, they started off their set with Imposter. Some fan favorites showcased throughout their initial 15 song set included Money, Temper Temper, and Robbery. They also performed a cover of I Touch Myself (Divinyls). There was also a two song encore. They capped the night off with Dirt Cheap and Inappropriate Behaviour. KEEPING UP WITH LIME CORDIALE
Lime Cordiale’s tour will continue into late April. Their next scheduled date is set for April 4, 2024 at the A&R Music Bar in Columbus, Ohio. They then have dates in Chicago and Minneapolis before heading up to Canada. From April 8-13, 2024 they will be playing four shows across Canada before heading back to the United States to wrap up this leg of their tour. They will do so with four dates in California. First up is April 17, 2024 at the Cornerstone in Berkeley. after stops in San Luis Obispo and San Diego, they will end their run on April 21, 2024 at the Ventura Music Hall.
