Nickelback stopped through the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on August 22, 2023. Josh Ross and Brantley Gilbert were also along for show. Josh Ross performed an eight song set to kick things off. He played all his top hits, and mixed in a cover of The Goo Goo Dolls’ Iris. You can find his setlist from the night online. Brantley Gilbert followed up, and delivered a 16 song action packed set. He began his set with Kick It in the Sticks. From there he mixed in fan favorites such as The Weekend, Son of the Dirty South, and Bottoms Up. He mixed in a few covers, including Blue on Black (Kenny Wayne Shepherd) and A Country Boy Can Survive (Hank Williams Jr.). He also performed a mashup of Blind (Korn), Whatever (Godsmack), and Shine (Collective Soul). Here is a link to his whole setlist from the night.
Nickelback hit the stage and started off with San Quentin. Throughout the set, they mixed in top hits like Far Away, Animals, and Rockstar. We also got a rendition of Copperhead Road (Steve Earle) with Brantley Gilbert and Josh Ross joining in. They ended their 14 song set with How You Remind Me. A much anticipated encore was also delivered. They came out with Gotta Be Somebody, and officially wrapped the night up with Burn it to the Ground. KEEPING UP WITH NICKELBACK
Nickelback will be taking some time off for a bit, with only one announced upcoming show. That show is set to take place April 26, 2024 at Stagecoach 2024 Festival in Indio, California. Make sure to check out their latest album released, Get Rollin’ (Deluxe), which was released back in June.
