SatchVai Band (Joe Satriani and Steve Vai) came to Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion on May 20, 2026. This show was part of their Surfing with the Hydra 2026 North American tour. The tour kicked off April 1, 2026 in Seattle, Washington, and spanned 40 dates in all.

Once SatchVai Band hit the stage, they began their set with Dancing. They also performed songs like I Wanna Play My Guitar and The Sea of Emotion Part 1. Some Steve Vai songs they played included Tender Surrender, Teeth of the Hydra, and For the Love of God. Songs by Joe Satriani mixed in were Flying in a Blue Dream, Surfing With the Alien, and Satch Boogie. They ended their initial 15 song set with Always With Me, Always With You (Satriani). They then delivered a 2 song encore. First was Crowd Chant (Satriani), followed by Born to Be Wild (Mars Bonfire) to officially wrap up the show.

SatchVai Band played seven more shows to close out the tour. Some of the stops included New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. The final show of the tour took place May 30, 2026.
